Piedmont Park Engagement Session :: Heather & Bryan

It’s such a gorgeous time of year for engagement photos! Heather and Bryan brought their dog Bentley along for their session in Piedmont Park, and we had a great time creating these images over the course of a few hours from late afternoon through sunset. It’s important when preparing for an engagement session to be aware of how the light will look. In summer of course the days are very long and languid; a shoot might start at 6:30 in the evening and end close to 9 (or 10 if you shoot in a nightclub!) In the fall, the best window for natural daylight photos is roughly 3:30-5:30. Every shoot is different so that may vary if you are traveling to multiple locations, changing outfits, or covering a large park as we did here. I hope you enjoy these fun romantic images of Heather and Bryan, please reach out if you would like to inquire about your own!
